WEEKLY RECAP: May 12, 2013

I have been on the hunt for a great way to recap my week and figured that I would try this one out.  It is partially inspired by Clock Rewinders, an awesome feature created by Amanda at On a Book Bender and Tara at 25 Hour Books.   Check out their posts every week!

MY READING UPDATE

Lord of Wicked Intentions by Lorraine Heath -- Conclusion to the intriguing Lost Lords of Pembrook trilogy.  I have been anxious to read Rafe's story ever since we met him in the first book and Heath did not disappoint me!  Rafe's mysterious past comes to light and we get to see what a great hero he is.  Evelyn Chambers is a really interesting character who shows that heroines can be gentle and innocent without being annoying or clingy.  Full review coming soon.

The Bridgertons: Happily Ever After by Julia Quinn -- A collection of second epilogues for Ms. Quinn's fabulous Bridgerton series.  My personal favorite stories were the ones associated with The Duke and I, When He Was Wicked, and The Viscount Who Loved Me.  It was also nice to see Mrs. Bridgerton get her own time in the sun.  Full review coming soon.

About a Dragon by G.A. Aiken -- This is such a funny series! Aiken's bawdy sense of humor paired with the fantasy element of dragons and magic is so much fun. I liked both main characters and can't wait to read the rest of the Dragon Kin books.

Currently Reading: Apollyon by Jennifer L. Armentrout, Eon: Dragoneye Reborn by Alison Goodman, The Hero's Guide to Saving Your Kingdom by Christopher Healy
