Feature & Follow Friday is a blog hop that expands your blog following by a joint effort between bloggers. Feature & Follow Friday is now hosted by TWO hosts, Rachel of Parajunkee and Alison of Alison Can Read. Each host will have their own Feature Blog and this way it'll allow us to show off more new blogs!

Q: What is the last book that kept you up late into the night just to finish it?
The most recent book that completely ruined my sleeping schedule was Shades of Earth by Beth Revis. This is the conclusion to the wonderful Across the Universe trilogy and I had been eagerly anticipating it. My preordered copy came in the mail the day after it was released and I finished it at about 4:30 the next morning. My 5-star review of the book can be found here.

So many people have said that this one kept them up. I still haven't read the second one of this yet, let along the third one. Hopefully I can soon though because I loved Across the Universe! Happy Friday :)

I actually waited until earlier this month to read A Million Suns so I wouldn't have to wait too long to see what happens next. There is a definite cliffhanger in the second book. Hope you get to read it soon...it is amazing!
DeleteThis one sounds like a real page turner.

I feel you! So many series and so little time. I definitely recommend this one if you get a chance to try it and I'm not even a huge sci-fi fan!

It is awesome, Ashley! Such an amazing conclusion to a fabulous series!
DeleteI am not familiar with this series at all. Might have to check it out.
ReplyDeleteOld follower. Thanks for stopping by my my FF post earlier.
It is a nice mix of sci-fi and dystopian and I highly recommend. If you are a fan of dual pov stories, it might work for you. Thanks for visiting!
DeleteYour pick for this question made me smile! I just got it yesterday but I know I'll probably want to read it strait through and I have so many other things this weekend that must be done so I'm putting it off till next week. So excited to see how it ends!
ReplyDeleteI definitely wasn't planning on reading it straight through because I wanted to savor it since it is the end, but that plan went out the window pretty quickly. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
DeleteI'm not really into futuristic books, but I have been hearing amazing things about this series. Maybe I should look into it. Thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI wasn't into sci-fi/futuristic books until I read Across the Universe. It is so amazingly written that I fell completely in love with the whole world and all the characters. I hope you give it a chance someday. Thanks for visiting!
