I love finding free or cheap books for my Kindle so I decided to start featuring some of the best.  Take advantage of these great deals before they end!

Crossroads by Mary Ting (FREE) [YA Paranormal]
YA paranormal involving angels and a mysterious place between heaven and earth.  Includes one of my favorite plotlines: unrequited love on the part of the hero.

Brightest Kind of Darkness by P.T. Michelle (FREE) [YA Paranormal]
YA urban fantasy that has gotten alot of hype lately.  The heroine (Nora) has the unwanted ability to dream the events of the next day until it starts to fade and people begin to get hurt at a rapid pace.

Collide by Shelly Crane (FREE) [YA Paranormal/Science Fiction]
YA paranormal/science fiction that involves a tabloid reporter who discovers that people are disappearing then reappearing with completely different personalities.

Devil's Bride by Stephanie Laurens ($0.99) [Historical Romance]
This is a pre-order price for the e-version of one of the most famous historical romances.  A great read for those of you who like alpha heroes, fiesty heroines, and large, busybody families.  I gave it 4 stars!

A Groom of One's Own by Maya Rodale ($0.99) [Historical Romance]
The beginning of a historical romance series that features four Regency-era women who write for a scandalous London newspaper.  Very lighthearted and enjoyable.  I gave it 4 stars.  Also, two other books in the series are $0.99: A Tale of Two Lovers and The Tattooed Duke.

Book of a Thousand Days by Shannon Hale ($0.99) [YA Fantasy]
Highly recommended retelling of a classic, but forgotten fairytale.

Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione ($1.99) [Paranormal Romance]
Beginning of Ione's Lords of Deliverance series which focuses on the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.  A spin-off to her Demonica series.  Very dark, but very addicting.  I gave it 4.5 stars.

Angel of Darkness by Cynthia Eden ($1.99) [Paranormal Romance]
Paranormal romance involving fallen angels who strive to reclaim a life on Earth.  This is the first in a series.

Firelight by Kristen Callihan ($1.99) [Paranormal/Historical Romance]
Paranormal romance with a historical setting.  This book has a Beauty and the Beast-plotline which I adore.  Lots of mystery and action.  I gave it 4 stars.

Second Seduction of a Lady by Miranda Neville ($1.99) [Historical Romance]
Historical novella that provides the background to Neville's new Wild Quartet series.  A sweet story of reunited lovers who are given a second chance at happiness.  I gave it 4 stars.

A Night Like This by Julia Quinn ($1.99) [Historical Romance]
One of my favorite historical writers!  This is the second in her Smythe-Smith Quartet and involves a mysterious governess who falls for the son of her employer.  I gave it 4 stars.

Thief of Shadows by Elizabeth Hoyt ($1.99) [Historical Romance]
The fourth in Hoyt's Maiden Lane series which takes place in Georgian-era England.  I absolutely adored this book with its Robin Hood-like hero and unconventional heroine.  I gave it 5 stars.

Storm by Brigid Kemmerer ($1.99)  [YA Paranormal]
The first in a popular YA series about four brothers with elemental powers and how they interact with their world.  I've read the prequel novella and love the worldbuilding.

Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes ($1.99) [YA Historical]
One of my favorites as a child.  This book focuses on a young silversmith's apprentice who becomes involved in the days preceding the American Revolution in Boston.

Flowers from the Storm by Laura Kinsale ($2.99) [Historical Romance]
An amazingly written story about a noble mathematician who suffers a stroke and is confined to an insane asylum in Regency-era England.  The hero is saved by a quiet, but strong-willed Quaker heroine.  Definitely not a light-hearted read and puts the reader through a variety of emotions.  Highly recommended.
